MOUNTAIN BIKING: Centennial Snowy Range Loop #1

← WY PIONEER CANAL WOODS WY Single Tracks →

Description

From the Viz, start near the bathrooms and use the back trail to get to the Barber Lake Road (BLR). Ride 1 mile up Barber Lake Road to Barber Lake Trail (BLT). Go up BLT until to the Libby Creek Trail's (LCT) east entrance. Take LCT to the designated WayPoint to begin the Bear Lake Connector. Take the Bear Lake Connector up to Libby Flats where it opens up onto an old two track that is well visible. If it is a warm day, make the detour to Bear Lake and jump in, preferably via the east facing cliffs. Resume the ride up FR 396 to the top of Libby Flats. Take WYO 130 back east to the Towner Lake Road (rough dirt). Take the Towner Lake Road to the Brooklyn Lake Road, turn left - North on the Brooklyn Lake Road to the head of the North Fork Trail which is a really fun 4 mile single track through meadows, alpine forest, along the North Fork Little Laramie River. At the end of that trail ride through the North Fork CG, down the Sand Lake Road for approximately 1/2 mile to the Little Laramie Trails on the left. Best option is the Meadow Loop/River Look connector. Continue down until rejoining WYO 130. Take 130 down to the Corner MT trailhead, finish the ride by riding that single track until it rejoins the Barber Lake Road, then go back to the Viz via the back trail. Map and GPX track is very accurate on this version of a very fun ride. Total ride time is 4-5 hours.
